Mr. Sunil Kumar (founder and director) launched the company as a single endeavour while pursuing his love for computer science and engineering. As his interests deepened, he decided to purchase a computer during his second year. Understanding the capabilities and technology of the computers helped him grasp how large a market they can serve. His curiosity about technology induced him to assemble and sell a few computers to his professors. This was the turning point in his life that led to the incorporation of lampocomputers. As a dog lover, he named his company after his family dog, Lampo. Very soon, the company began to cater to the needs of the clients with PCs and necessary components.
After the company became well established in the market and got affiliated with Intel as their Platinum level technology provider, there was a pivotal addition to the company’s staff in Mrs. Lily Kumar (Managing Director), who learned the tricks of the trade in almost no time, and this led to the expansion of this organisation.
In the early 2000s, the company shifted its focus to a better and higher level of computing, including servers, workstations, and storage. Rental services for these machines were also an addition to the company’s offerings. Lampo Computers Pvt. Ltd. then worked with Dell as a large enterprise partner to provide its clients with the best solutions and services for their processing and network requirements.
With a strong foundation and expertise in computing, Lampo Computers Pvt. Ltd. has established itself as a trusted name in the industry. Over the years, the company has adapted to the changing technological landscape and continuously evolved its offerings to meet the growing demands of its clients.
